Your role: As a Permit Engineer, you will be part of our Engineering Department in Athens and play an integral role in the implementation of our fiber optics network projects. If you are passionate about designing and delivering high-quality technical plans, then this is a great opportunity for you.

How you will contribute to our success:

  • Review Design Engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions;
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status to the Project Coordinator;
  • Cooperate and communicate closely with the Engineering team;
  • Design technical plans required by local authorities;
  • Collect all necessary paperwork for the issuance of necessary permits and submission before competent authorities;
  • Communicate with public premises where needed;
  • Manage permits effectively.

To be a fit you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, telecommunications, or another related technical field;
  • Good command of the German language (current level: B2);
  • Excellent command of the English language;
  • Excellent hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD or other similar design and visualization software;
  • 1 to 3 years previous working experience in construction or (ideally) in the telecommunication field;
  • Advanced MS Office skills;
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ideally you also have:

  • Previous working experience in Germany, ideally in FTTx;
  • Education/Certification in Project Management;
  • Knowledge of GIS.
