Your role: As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately processing and managing our Germany employee salaries, benefits, and deductions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining precise financial records.

How you will contribute to our success:

  • Preparing the monthly payroll and taking into account all respective tax and social security regulations;
  • Assessing extensive issues from the perspective of wage tax and social insurance and implementing these correctly and in an audit-proof manner in the payroll process;
  • Checking expenses reports and implementing payroll-relevant components in final Payroll;
  • Entering and maintaining personnel's data in software, such as DATEV LODAS and other internal programs;
  • Communicating with social insurance agencies, tax authorities and other institutions;
  • Preparing of weekly and monthly personnel key figures and statistics;
  • Cooperating with different departments, including HR Dpt. to improve payroll service;
  • Assisting Finance Dpt. in other accounting tasks.

To be a fit you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or another related field;
  • Proven professional experience as a Payroll Specialist, ideally in construction industry;
  • In-depth knowledge of social security and tax law;
  • Experience in using various payroll software solutions (preferably DATEV LODAS);
  • Good command of the German language;
  • Very good command of the English language;
  • Out-of-the box thinking and excellent problem solving skills;
  • Commitment and high sense of responsibility;
  • Analytical skills and precise way of working.
