Your role: As a Project Manager, you will lead a dynamic team of Engineers and perform strategic planning, project management, team leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality and innovative FTTx solutions.
How you will contribute to our success:
- Lead and manage a team of FTTx Project Engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship;
- Oversee development and implementation of FTTx network structure designs and construction permits, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices;
- Oversee the end-to-end management of FTTx network engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards;
- Provide technical expertise and oversight for all FTTx network projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and organizational requirements;
- Conduct regular quality reviews of project outputs to identify and address potential issues;
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets for FTTx network projects.
- To be a fit you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, telecommunications, or another related technical field.
- At least three years’ previous experience in the telecommunication industry, with proven experience in FTTx design solutions;
- Previous leadership or managerial experience, demonstrating the ability to lead and coordinate teams effectively;
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and budget management;
- In-depth knowledge of fiber optic network technologies, standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams;
- Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges, optimize designs, and mitigate risks;
- Knowledge of the German language would be considered an asset.
